I ran the 2” Rough Country spacer lift for about a year while I saved up money for Bilstein 5100’s. They were perfectly fine for light off roading and on-road driving. If I remember correctly, I put about 25,000 miles on the truck before I switched to the Bilsteins.

    You're good RW!

I waited 47 months to do my upgrade...but I don't off-road AT ALL so it wasn't a priority to lift my truck.

Now, I'm riding at the same height (just about) as the Tacoma Limited I had as a loaner.

I think the TRD Lift Kit is the best for my needs.

Just found this, bigger UCAs aren't recommended unless a Lift is more than 2".

You may need a sway bar drop kit with aftermarket coils. I installed 5100’s on lowest setting with OME coils and got a little bit of rubbing. It was fine when I initially had 5100’s on highest setting with OEM coils, but the OMEs are a little thicker. I never installed a diff drop kit and I didn't replace the needle bearing until around 200K. I’ve had the 5100s since about 60K, or whenever the powertrain warranty expired. And my needle bearing was not in too bad condition - my driver-side CV has some extra play but I never had vibration issues.
