so my truck is lightly modified Bilstein's with HD springs front and an ARB bumper and a winch, but I've taken that up plenty of places heck I've pulled my nephew out of the woods with my Tacoma and its only skid is on the bottom of that ARB bumper. just drive smart. better tires will get you plenty of places

Don't sweat it: We were all new at one time. Welcome to TacomaWorld! :proposetoast:

2014 SR5 4x4 here: bone stock. I take it on Forest Service and Paper Company roads and land all of time fly fishing in the spring and fall. Some of the roads are a challenge with wash-outs and streams running down and across them. You just have to know and understand your limits and turn-around. (and listen to the little voice that is telling you: "enough".) The biggest challenge sometimes is finding a spot to turn around! I think the most important item on the truck is the tires. I have Michelin A-T-somethings. They work without really thinking about them.
