I have a 2013 base model Tacoma(Manual). To put it in perspective, this thing doesn’t even have cruise control. I went to a parts store today to see if I could buy an aftermarket actuator to create an electronic locking system, but the parts guy showed me that my locking system works like a brake pump on a bike. An aftermarket actuator for the door lock probably won’t be an option(or at-least a good one). I was wondering if you would have any advice?

Additionally, this thing doesn’t have an alarm system. I’m trying to think of ways to help protect the vehicle from potential theft. Any suggestions?
