Been awhile since I posted. I'm still on the list for the electrician apprenticeship, but I just finally got a job a week and a half ago and its actually fun. I'm an assembly technician and go to stores like lowes, home depot, walmart, etc... and put together stuff for them. Mainly grills and smokers at the moment, but we just put together whatever they need or a customer has ordered. Its like adult legos and im being paid for it.

Pays not as good as my last job, at least until I get faster then it has the possibility to exceed my previous job, but at least its fun and the other techs ive worked with have all been pretty cool. No really set schedule either. Can show up as early as I want up till 9am and leave whenever as long as the store is happy and I feel like i've invoiced enough.
