Yup! Car washes are no issue. No special care is needed. Just wash like you would the rest of the vehicle. Cheers,

I don't use these panels but i have a foldable 200w panel from nicesolar a bouge rv solar charge controller, lithium 12v 100ah battery in a ironman battery box. And it works amazing i run my fridge camp light and charge other power packs off of this. everything i bought came from Amazon and i waited until things were on sale. I'm actually thinking about mounting a panel on the roof rack also.

After a long wait received delivery of Cascadia 4x4 Hood Solar VSS 2.0.

Really well built and simple to install with a great install kit and instructions.

I am using this to supplement my AGM battery. My DC-DC system has a solar input and I had designed the system to accommodate this panel addition.

The only hiccup I encountered was that the panel produces a higher voltage than what my DC-DC charger allows so I had to source a Buck converter to regulate voltage down to within the tolerance of the DC-DC unit.

Full sun the panel is producing about 2.5 Amps at 24 volts after conversion by the Buck converter as measured by the DC-DC unit. This is almost exactly what the old ARB fridge pulls to maintain 28 degrees (old blue fridge) so essentially allows me to maintain battery during the daytime but it will eventually bring down battery over several days but the battery is 170AH so should hold up for a bit. This just slows the drain during the hottest part of the day. Still working on a semi-permanent mount for the fridge.
