Installed new headlights on my 2005 Pre-Runner. Its only got 54K on her but the lights were 20 years old and glazed over.

Pretty straight fwd project. Only thing is the plastic clips that hold the grill, bumper etc were brittle and broke.

And the screw that is underneath behind the wheel fender liner is a super royal PITA to get to.

    Taillights are next.

Got into a wrestling match with some extended ss brake lines. 2 flares stripped making it quite the match. Cut em out, reflared. Flushed the system with new paint stripper. Good to go!IMG_5423.jpg IMG_5425.jpg

Absolutely. If you haven’t pulled the trigger already. They’re awesome and the owner is great. First few rounds, he texts you just to remind you to grease them up. No complaints! For sure get the recommended grease.

I had to cut some of the baffle material on the bottom side to make the front door panels fit. I had no issues with the rear speaker baffles.

Started off with some routine maintenance with an oil and filter change. Then I installed an expandable cup hold to make that circle in the shift bezel useful.

I had some extra sound deadening material and figured since I'm changing the oil, why not apply some to the underside of the hood. I don't know if it will make a difference but this was more to use up the extra material I purchased.

Awhile back I noticed the Nilight tow shackles were working themselves loose. I changed them out with a set of split shackles.
