For my Tacoma I’m getting engine codes: P0420 P0320 and P2121
I’ve had P0420 and P0320 for a while. Not really worried about them as I think I just need new cats but my state doesn’t smog. P2121 puts the truck into limp mode. It seems to happen when I step on the gas a lot.

The P2121 is an issue with the Accelerator Pedal Position (APP) Sensor/circuit, either the sensor is failing or you have a wiring issue. The sensor is integrated into the accelerator pedal and consists of two independent sensors (VPA & VPA2), when the two sensors do not agree the ECM sets P2121, enters failsafe mode, and limits throttle angle.

I’m going to unplug my pedal commander. I think it’s messing with it

That could definitely be causing it.
