    A little plunkin’ in the harbor after having trouble crossing the bar last weekend. Been a rough halibut season between schedules and weather! I am betting that there is still plenty of quota available…TBC!

    What great luck! While at fleetfarm I found a clearance Pflueger president xt 35 reel for $55. Open the box up and its a Pflueger supreme 30!

    Not sure how that reel got in that box since they are normally locked up, guessing a employee swapped it and put it out on the shelf for their buddy to come buy it for cheap.

    My latest dumb purchase... 8f6i medium travel rod fenwick eagle.
    Paired it with a 30 sized 13 fishing reel (I have tons of 13 fishing reels as fleetfarm clearanced the hell out of them the past 2 summers). 8lb braid with a 10 foot flouro leader.
    Not 100% sure what I am going to use it for, but most likely it will be my travel bobber rig. It will be a good steelhead float rod for when I go up north, or just for launching bobbers out to the middle of the lake.

    Ive gotten some good deals on multi piece rods due to stuck ferrules :) People like to put the parts on not straight, then twist them until they are stuck. Then when the rod looks messed up and people cant get them apart it gets sold for cheap to me.

    hence the side of the nose roll, twist it on, holds tight BUTT, comes apart easily, from my experience, which other than the fact im old, don't mean shit !!!
