‘99 sr5 v6 mpg

    About a week ago I brought my truck to Louisiana for work it’s about a 365-380mile drive from where I live and normally work, I have the 5vz and it got wayyyy better gas mileage than I figured especially with 333k miles on the odometer, averaged 23.4 mpg, i run 235-75-15r right now how is the old engine with high mileage getting similar mpg to new trucks

    Small tires, magic, down hill, with a tailwind. I dunno, My first get 3.4 got better than the newer ones too. It’s a smaller truck that the land yachts they make now.
