I also shoot 1 pin. More than one pin screws with my target panic.

HHA Ultra 2" single pin slider - for me one pin is good out to 30 yards.

I have HHA also. Weird thing is it only likes certain tapes for elevation. I think max is around 60 yds but its pushing it with that sight. Supposedly goes further but i tried and it didnt work

No No it’s just me. If I’m using a three pin and shooting at 20 yards. I’ll start with the forty yard pin on target, then I move down to the thirty yard on target, and by the time I move the twenty yard pin on target I have so much stress and anxiety built up that I end up punching the trigger.
    TARGET PANIC..

Whisker biscuit and 5 pin here, but I only use 3 of them, as I don't trust my lack of practice to ethically take a shot more than 40 yds. Stupidly enough though, I've shot over a deers back at -20 yds, and my bow harvests have been at 34-39 yds each time.

Do most of you carry a rangefinder? I carry one and always range trees and objects around the stand I am in.

30 yards and under is my comfort zone, BUT, I do practice out to 40 & 50. (for that once in a lifetime shot, or a wounded animal)

I use a kuiu chest harness and always have my RF on it. And yea as soon as you’re stationary I’d recommend using it on a few trees that stand out so you have a rough estimate on distance

Yes, I always have a range finder and I always, always have my binoculars, mainly to size up my bucks.

Bow hunting has come a long way, almost to the point that it’s borderline complicated. When I started bow hunting in the mid 70’s compound bows were just hitting the market. Back then you had maybe 3-4 different scents and attractants and you only had 1-2 camo patterns to choose from and now the choices are endless.

Same here, I’ve gotten to my blind only to realize that I left my binoculars in my truck and walked back to get them.

a lot of bad ass stuff
Georgia announced that they will open rifle season a week earlier this year, but strictly for does. There is a short list of counties that this doesn't apply to.

The fourth weekend of Georgia's archery season Oct. 4-5 will be open to firearms deer hunting for antlerless deer.
