I still have not even seen a 2024 (or 25) Tacoma Xtra-Cab model....
    Anybody have one??

I have no desire for a 4-door truck and my local dealer never received any 2-door models.

    Thoughts on it.
    Pic's please.

    I drove one last week.

There’s room back there but it helps to be young and flexible to reach in there (I’m none of those things).

    Even with the seat folded…

It reminds me of the old 90s trucks.

If I was 20 I’d be all over it.

I'm not young or flexible either :)rofl:), but have since added the OEM steps which make getting to the rear storage area much easier.

I'll be buying an xtracab eventually. When I go on toyota.com and do a model search, there are lots of SR5 xtracabs around me.

OP---- just wanted to let you know that if you have any questions that I could help answer re XCs, let me know. I agree that they're rare (I've still not ever seen one out in the wild other than mine), but if I had to start the buying process again from the beginning, I'd opt for the exact same truck I have now.

I am considering a prerunner since I do not normally carry passengers.

How big is the area when the section that has tacoma stamp in it is completely folded down.

Any measurements would be awesome. I'd like to store a large and medium suit cases back there if possible just in case it rains. I wouldn't want luggage to get wet. TY

very bummed out that xtra cab
I didn't get to drive much when I test drove the PreRunner, would you say it handles just as good as 3rd gen or much better? considering that PreRunner and all the xtra cab still on leaf spring while all double cab are now on coils now

When folded down, the rear storage section was just over 53" across and a little short of 20" from the back panel to the end of the center console area (just behind the additional cup holders).

Since this is my first Tacoma, can't give you a direct comp to the 3rd gen, but for me the ride and handling have been great. My guess is that the coils would provide a more refined ride, but I've been fine with leaf springs and for those wanting the XC that's what you're gonna get regardless.
