Hey guys I need help solving an unnecessary problem created by Toyota. I have a 2018 TRD Off-road and there is no place to put sunglasses?? This thing has basically everything but no place to put your sunglasses!? Has anyone come up with a creative solution or 3D printed something??

One of the 37 cup holders works.

That’s practical I guess. But I didn’t buy nice sunglasses to throw them in a cup holder.

I have one in the overhead console. There are a bunch of different variants. Wonder if you could swap one in?

A logical choice. Unless of course it’s dark outside, which happens pretty frequently.

Can put them in a sleeve or case first. My nicer pair will get that, the cheap work stuff just gets tossed wherever.

...from personal experience, recently got some prescription sunglasses and I was all excited to finally use the sunglass holder. I put em in there and when I went to put them on after a day at work, they were pretty toasty and unpleasantly hot on my face. Decided to never use the sunglasses holder again. They just bake in there. There's no insulation. You're better off keeping them in a case and stash them in the cubby.

I throw other junk in there as that seems to be a useful spot for that

I have a spare in a hard case in the drivers door pocket. But my glasses are prescription and have transitional lenses.

    Itz JDM tyte, yo!
Cubby where the wireless charger is

    Center console

    Glove box

Some other Tacoma variants has the sunglasses holder, it's just that the automatic TRD Off-Road and TRD PRO has the MTS and Crawl Control controls in place of the sunglasses holder.
