Hi, I was wondering do I also need to replace spare tire? I am planning to get 245/17 all terrain tires because law where I live doesn't allow off roading without AT tires.

My 2023 SR5 has tires it came with, firestone destination barely 17k miles 2 years on it. I don't want to get 255, just 245 AT that will do the job for some advanced off roading

Thanks and any AT spare recommendation is appreciated

Are you sure the Destinations don't have an “AT” on them somewhere. Pretty sure the stock Sr5 tires are AT.

That's what I thought at first since it is 4x4 but all tires are M+S there is no AT mark anywhere, the thread itself is also not pointing to AT tire.

I checked again now and doesn't have all terrain anywhere, its Firestone Destination LE2

Just go on tire rack and search by size and filter by all terrain. You’ll have more options if you go to a 265 I believe.

    Check build thread!
I'd check out the Yokohama Geolander AT G015 in that size. Quiet, available in stock size, and should retain the on road feel of stock with much better offroad performance.

How much are you looking to spend? I recently put on some kenda klever at2s (you can find them on e bay for about $670 shipped from parrish tire co). Figured I’d give them a shot. After mount, balance, alignment, I’m only in $840. I checked and they have them in 245/70/17 SL.

around 500$ total, but I am also considering how much they will take my current tires, only got 17k on them in 2 years. I saw lots for 100$ but they are all 265, i want 245s or 255.

    I will check that out
