In my 05 Tacoma the brake pedal goes almost all the way to the floor and has poor braking in the mornings (50-60°F) but when it’s warm out it activates right at the top and has much better braking (70-100°). I’m not even sure what to do. I use this truck only for offroad. Wondering if I should bypass the abs unit. It already has a new master cylinder in it. Brake lines are replaced. New pads and rotors and drums and shoes. Everything is adjusted and bled.

My truck is heavy, ~5400-5600 lbs. Brakes would fade on a long trail. I went to big brake kit (BBK).

Did you upgrade booster and master cylinder?

Yes, the plan is to go 4 wheel disk.
