Is there some reason you haven't fixed the title of this thread yet?

    It's not hard. Look:

I remember when I got my Tacoma and felt the same exact way. You seem to have all the right things in mind.

after about 5 years some of the excitement wears off and you see the value in keeping things simple after doing so many projects alongside maintenance. A lot of the things I would’ve bought in the first year or 2, I am glad I didn’t.

things that never changed for me was going to 33s and doing a suspension upgrade. Still stoked on those.

you mentioned skids, but not rock sliders. May be something to consider if any of your trails have any uneven sections with rocks.

consider an OTT tune. It’ll help if you go up to 33s.

lots of sage advice here on the forum if you use the search function.

Remember to enjoy your truck by making memories with it, instead of memories of spent money and trying to chase trucks on the gram lol. You’ve already crossed into the promised land as we see it, these trucks are the best.

Haven't read all of what I'm sure are excellent recommendations, but my $.02 would be to enjoy the stock new 2025 as is for awhile, that way you'll be better able to assess what mods you might want to risk, I mean, venture based on what you've been doing with the truck prior. Enjoy that new ride!

    It's not a stock 2025.

It's a stock 2015 and OP is too lazy to fix the title of the thread.

My humble advice, think about what makes you happy & what changes or modifications to your truck would make you happier.

What you do and plan to do is completely different than what I do and plan to do. So this might not be helpful.

For me it was a good coded alarm, improved stereo adding backup camera, tint, short shifter, and super sticky tires.

Yeah generally recommend prioritizing and phasing upgrades vs big bang

Well, if you WANT 33s(285's) then a professional job at a CMC (Cab Mount Chop) wont even be noticeable and you can have bigger tires that will actually articulate and not rub. wheel offset makes a difference as well. I run 265/75R16 on my truck. Slightly taller than stock, but Im assuming you want the "wide tire" look hence the 33s wish...Wheel selection plays in to that as well and then you get in to will the wheels rub the UCA (Upper Control Arm) due to the offset/backspacing you choose. I foresee alot of reading in your future ;)

I'd just drive it the way it as, and see how you feel about the various aspects of the truck, as you go along.
Replacing something just to replace it, whole ignoring things that end up bugging you until later, doesn't make sense. Plus, it'll just tie up the truck.
Like others have said I'd just drive it fir now and enjoy it. Better than changing something and regretting it. Then having to go back.

    That's my 2 cents.

Congratulations on your new 2015 Tacoma
