DYI or professional

Any suggestions on how to repair the roof. Just wondering if I should try it myself or have a pro repaint it.

That appears to be thru the clear and paint. Easy option is wrap it. Other is paint it.

 

Only you can answer that.

Me? I'm 5'9" on a good day.
I can't see the top of my truck. I'm going to DIY that all day.
All I care about is preventing rust.
Looks?, Not so much. Not an my almost 20 year old truck........

 

Up there? I had the same thing but my hood needed to be repainted too, I had it done, if it was just the roof I would have done it myself

 

If it’s just the roof, DIY. Get a few quotes, compare the paint/materials, your time and see if it’s worth it.

You can get away with a wrap as well and I’m sure there’s a wrap very similar in colour to your truck.

In my opinion id hire someone. But I also don't know paint repair and dont really trust myself to try and learn it on that large an area. I'm also only 5 9 and dont have a step ladders
