My first damage since I bought it. 2021 SR5 DCLB. I was backing my trailer through a gate and while watching the trailer I didn't notice how close my passenger mirror was to the gate post. The mirror flipped forward and I didn't think much about it because everything still worked fine after I pulled it back. some of the shell had opened about an eighth inch on the outside edge and I gave it a squeeze and it snapped into place. After getting home I went to really look at it to see if anything was scratched or scuffed. That's when I noticed a piece of plastic was missing from underneath. The dealer told me I would have to get a new mirror if I wanted it repaired since there are no replacement parts. I'm not doing that for how much they charge. All I need is the small finned piece that's circled. Any ideas?

Etsy is the spot unless you find one in a junk yard.

Yeah it's minor to you but I try to keep my truck in nice shape. I'll never be able to buy a new truck again so I baby this one.

Shaggy that looks exactly like what I need. I'll measure mine out and send out an email to him. Thanks for the link.

Etsy or Ebay, maybe find someone with a 3D printer and get the correct measurements and filament for the printer, them 3D printer auto parts/accessories are extremely robust and UV resistant/Sun/Weather resistant too. If all else fails, search around ya local junk yards/independent auto mechanics places and see if you can source one up. Might be able to find some cherry passenger side mirror parts and or the whole assembly, something that may have been totaled from the rear/sides and is completely like new in front. I wouldn't want to pay Stealership fees for a replacement neither. I bet they quote 1k or close to it for a new one with labor and tax and blah blah blah. No thanks on that noise.

I destroyed my mirror back up. My ladder on the house was sticky out and ripped ost of the mirror right off onto the hood. I freaked out of course. Looked around on the net for used or new ones and it was a nightmare to find the right one color and options.
Make story short a friend of mine who owns a body shop took the mirror which was like 4 pieces and epoxied it together and installed it on the truck 3 years ago and still holding out. This cost me labor and glues about 90.00 saved me hundreds. So look at that route cause your mirror is minor damage to mine.

Thanks for the ideas. I'm going to check the piece from etsy first and then a couple salvage yards. That is really all I need.
