i dunno. not everyone knows everything.

i think the flash mob is getting a little too hungry around these parts. the dude's got 17 posts across 3 threads that clearly indicates he's both very new to vehicles in general, and very young.

at some point we're not people that have learned from our mistakes and work to help others, we're just assholes rubbing it in others faces for our own perverse entertainment. the current direction of that thread is exactly why i don't have a tacomaworld sticker on my truck.

So I spent a pleasant  afternoon pulling about 973 staples out of a floor.

The carpet extended into the closet and they used a few smaller pieces to cover it, apparently the installer (30 years ago) felt that more staples made for a better job - in an area where nobody can walk. :ballchain:

    Why shaking your head?
I mean, I’m recondition bowling equipment.
    I believe it’s a learned skill.
I made my own equipment to do it.
I did my backup set last week.
I redid the engraving by hand. It was barely there.

Many people have wanted me to work on their balls.

    IMG_8692.jpg

You really need nice, smooth balls for them to perform correctly.

Which one would you want to grab ???

    It’s ok.
    I understand.
    No need to leave…

I've been to a bowling alley a time or two. Never got into it enough to purchase a set of balls or luggage to tote them around. Always rented them and the shoes.

I prefer pool tables and golf.

Hah, same here with the unexpected cost thing. Gmas car failed inspection for brakes. She never spends money on cars so now that she's 90 she's talking about giving up driving. Problem is the car is also in our name so it comes here. So, not only do i get to spend $500 on brakes, I gotta pay off the loan and insurance now. FFS! :goingcrazy:

Good morning, friends! Hope this hump day is good to you :hattip:

I put a dab of freon in the VW yesterday and got to ride home in the A/C after welding all day at work.

Why didn’t I try that a month ago :smack:

so, unexpected a-c failure, hopefully, will be, temporarily corrected today. It seems the leak is at the low side connection at the compressor, no brazing or welding. I had to buy a 30lb can of freon to get 1 lb of freon to top it off. I HOPE this is a once a year refill, as the can cost me $370.00.
