The last few times I've gotten out of the truck, it's beeped 8 or 10 times after I locked it whether I selected the lock button inside the truck and closed the door or I locked it at the door handle, it's still beeps 8 or 10 times but the door is locked. I don't have a key fob or anything in there and I just cannot figure out what is causing it? Does anyone have any ideas?

Edit: It may be having something in the rear seat since the app is warning me about that?

Ya I hated that so disabled it, go into the settings menu and turn it off, no more ridiculous beeps!

Not sure if I want to disable it knowing the reason it's there. However, there is just so much stuff to figure out in the settings that it's going to take a good while before I get it all nailed down.

What's next? A mandatory flashing beeping warning on toilets to tell you make sure to lift the lid before taking a piss? Anyone too stupid, too drunk or too drugged to remember they have children should not be allowed to drive in the first place.

What's next, maybe new pants will have a reverse beep to keep people safe at Walmart!

It only does the rear seat warning beeps if you opened your rear doors prior to drive, but didn't open them again at the end of the drive.

Not so sure about that. Unless you mean that it will beep after every drive until you open the rear doors again.

No, it only beeps once after your drive cycle when you lock the truck.

But the beeps only occur if you open the rear doors prior to drive, but don't open them again when you lock the truck.

    This video explains it https://youtu.be/3zmCkxC3zMU?feature=shared

I've had my truck for little over a month and for some reason it stopped beeping multiple times. Now it's just a single beep when I touch the handle to lock the truck.

That's it exactly except I'm pretty sure that it did it two or three times in a row without me going into the back seat in between. At least I know now. I'll leave it on now that I know what it is since, if the unthinkable happened, they wouldn't be able to say that I had turned it off.

What are the steps to shut it off?
