Your microwave will implode and take you into an alternate universe populated by lavender unicorns wearing pink plastic sunglasses.

Doesn't work. I step on every friggin crack I can find and my mother is still walking upright.
Perhaps I'll try to not step on it and see if it changes my luck.

    Here's another:

The man that discovered the wind-chill-factor formula died yesterday.
He was 85 but felt 79...

C'mon. What kid didn't have that moment where they went Godzilla-stomping on every crack in the pavement, when they thought nobody was looking?

Well I’m a pilot, and doing my rounds outside my Airbus doing the preflight walk, the fuel guy and the ramper’s with their tugs and bag carts park around the plane I feel like intentionally to block as much space for anyone or anything to get by.

Saying that, before flying said plane, I’ve many times walked under the ladder of the fueler busy pumping 4000 gallons of Jet-A in it….still here, 22 years at the helm of transport jets later.

Funny how completely different industries have the exact same problem of cross departmental obliviousness.

"Your problems aren't my job." :annoyed:

It's an issue in mine as well although it's more of a symptom of the larger issue, a complete lack of Communication between departments. It makes me wonder about the purpose of all this smart technology we've invented.

Same. We just had a managers meeting where someone asked "what's the number one complaint you hear from the employees?" I said communication. The big boss threw a fit over that. He said he communicates frequently, holds town halls, quarterly updates, and etc.

I had to explain. "Sir, you're focused on the macro level. When employees complain about coms, they're talking about the micro level. It's 'somebody has made a change that affects my assigned task and has failed to inform me.' They are just asking for advance notice when another department changes a procedure. "

Speaking to the corporate creatures can be exhausting at times.
