None yet, chomping at the bit for the first one.
    Looking for some input.

I've got a 2019 DCSB, with 162,000 miles. Is it too late to put on a GFC?

I'm able to use my wife's car often for commuting to work. My commute is going from 80 miles rt, to about 60 miles rt.

My adventures are usually to the Sierra Nevada or local Socal Mountains.

I'm guessing I'll get about 3.5 more years out of my Tacoma with around 260,000 miles. I'm super good about oil changes, and maintenance.

Or do I just wait until I get a new truck?

:gossip: Did you ask your wife? If she’s the one who said wait until you get your new truck, I say get a used one now with a brand new mattress pad that will match the truck now, and go enjoy using it for the both of you.

Then sell it when you sell your old truck (if it’s in bad shape) and buy a new one so it matches when you buy your new truck in the future.

Not late at all in my opinion. I have over 250k miles and a GFC that I take to the Rubicon.

    Great farting crocodiles!

I say go for it. It's an expensive dang topper, but at least it has a bit of resale value, should the future prove unexpected.

I have one and love it, you wont regret it no matter how many miles on your rig. My 3rd gen has 120k now and I’ve had it since new, got the camper 4 years ago.

No idea about the G and C, but in acronyms F is a constant.

Wait you have a wife?!? Then yes it is too late. You’ll be buying a camper in 3-4 years. You already have kids? Well, go get that camper. Can’t fit a whole family up there you know. GFC is for the single man’s game (or casual hunter).

Keep an eye out for a used one. They are interchangeable between 2nd and 3rd gens by changing out the front panel. I say go for it, I have had one for 2 years on my 2015 and absolutely love it. So versatile.
