Bilstein B8 5100 are out

how long until 6112?

So besides the lifting part, would the

B8 5100 be a downgrade from the red bilstein reservoir shocks on the TRD OR?

 

I'd say no, but I wouldn't consider it an upgrade either. If you're lifting the truck or want to raise the front with the adjustable circlips (which makes the ride harsher), then they'd be worth looking at.

@desertrun Hey maybe it's just me, but I'd put the topic of the thread (Bilstein 6112s) in the thread title so people don't get the thread confused with the existing 5100 thread(s).

I'd like to know when the 8000 series Billies will be available...

 

I would say an upgrade the red OR shocks are awful. Super soft then bam like its bottomed out but its not.

 

maybe you should get some hybrid offroad shocks...i feel like mine are ridged always... the 5100 gonna be stiff all the time? if the same company makes them and knows what they are going on wont they still prolly have the internal bump stop?
