Hi guys, I’ve been showering this place all day looking for a solution and I haven’t found anything worthwhile yet. I have a 2022 Tacoma TRD-off road with the non JBL head unit that has apple CarPlay. I was wondering if there was any way to replace the USB-A that connects to CarPlay with a USB-C port that also charged quickly as I still lose power when connected, as well as only having CarPlay when the cord is in a specific position. For reference I don’t want an external adapter or that terrible wireless CarPlay adapter. I’ve attached a photo of the connector I’m talking about I’ve had to use my cigarette port adapter just for my phone to charge.
