Have you noticed or tried to measure a difference in fuel efficiency between having a bed cap and not having a bed cap? Was wondering if the cap helped reshape the aerodynamics in a positive way, negative way, or neutral/no impact?

    I don't think I noticed a difference. I get about 18-19 MPG.

I have a 1000mi trip I do every couple of months (visiting the kids). Repeated after my Smartcap was installed. Mileage change was well within what I consider to be measurement error (+-0.5 mpg).
Adding a roof rack to the cap looks to have cost me about 0.5 mpg for the same trip.

    No cap: 23.5
    Smartcap: 23.7
    Smartcap + rack: 22.8
