    Hey TW,

I have a 2017 TRD Offroad with the manual transmission. It’s been throwing a P163b code, saying that the 4WD Ecu is malfunctioning. I have pulled off the actuator on the transfer case and driven the actuator rod back into what should be 2wd. However the truck is stuck in 4 hi. When the truck thinks it’s in 2wd when I flip the 4wd switch to hi I can hear the actuator kick then the truck flashes the 4wd indicator. Until I remove the transfer case actuator and drive the rod back into place the truck will not engage when in gear. Anyone run into this before? Do I just need a new transfer case?

Hey I had a similar problem with this, did you figure out the issue? I was told to reset my ecu and 4 wd module but I have not attempted that yet. What did you do to solve this?
