New to Toyota world. Need help. 2002 Toyota Tacoma 400K miles. Been working fine until. Replaced battery. Only headlights work. Will not crank. It worked fine before I had to do a shift lock override a week ago. (not sure if that has anything to do with it). Battery was dead so I had to move it to clear the drive way for an event. Any advice appreciated!

    Is the polarity correct?

Is the body ground (usually a short wire coming off the battery negative cable) bolted to the fender?

Are interior electrical functions like the blower working if you turn the key to "ON" without cranking the engine?

I will double check the negative cable bolted to fender.
No interior electrical functions work. Only headlights work. So weird. Battery checks out correct voltage.
