Between rainstorms and work, this job took a bit of time... Timing cover reseal, water pump replaced, vvti screens replaced, new passenger valve cover PCV hose, and for some reason my AC compressor only had 3 bolts.

New(used) winch to replace my crunchy old winch.

 

Lower ball joints 43330-09510 (Hilux from Japan).. Damn that was a job! The rental ball joint press was just barely enough force to do the job, then the sleeves that come with it just aren't the right size unless you take the boot off..

Dropped the fuel tank to put in a new fuel pump. The walbro wasn't necessarily bad but there's not many things that effect both banks to result in p0420 and P0430 codes at the same time. Found the hose clamp on the pump loose which would explain the random long crank I was getting seldomly. There was also a lot of crud in the jug and on the filter sock.


New pump is a Deatschwerks DW100 from URD. The new filter sock seems much better suited for this application. While I was at it I swapped the intank gates hose to a 8mm(better if it was 9mm like the gates hose) x 250mm corrugated hose from Amazon seller

Drove to complete readiness monitors and popped the p0420/p0430 codes again. I'm gonna check the rear O2 heaters again, then go for the hail mary cat acid bath on TundraSolutions after I spend $0.06 more...

Idk if it's fixed but it's definitely different. The graphs are a lot smoother than before. Side note I found an exhaust leak after the secondary cat.
