Trying to determine trans fluid flow direction on 2023 2.7; Top to bottom or bottom to top?

Monitored my transmission temp with a scan gage now for 1.5 years. In the summer running on the highway with no load I break 200 regularly. Hottest has been 208.TFT 208.jpg I an installing a tru cool 4451. I have scoured the web and have found conflicting opinions regarding the direction of the transmission fluid flow. The radiator cooler is on the driver's side and has an upper and lower. Generally, the web says rad coolers have intake in the lower and return is the upper. The only post I could find on this website says the opposite. I plan to run the fluid out of the rad cooler to the tru cool then back to the tranny. Any body know the correct answer?

If you find a parts diagram the part numbers correspond to inlet and outlet.

Meaning, you find the part number for the lower hose on your radiator connection and see if that part number is for an inlet or an outlet

On the radiator side it is the bottom line and I think if you trace it back to the transmission it is the top

If you’re putting in a transmission cooler I just put one in and I ran a line from the top of my cooler to the bottom port on the radiator, then I ran another hose from the bottom of the cooler to the transmission hose. I just used a 3/8 barbed fitting to connect the two together

I recently added a trans cooler to my 2.7l, I went from the bottom of the radiator cooler to the aftermarket cooler, then to the connection going back to the transmission. Works great. I loaded around 1000lbs of rocks and drove around for an hour or so at highway and stop and go speeds, max temp was 180F. I will need a thermostat before winter. The 2.7l doesn't have anything to "pin", so as far as I know, it's always sending fluid to the cooler.
