2013 Tacoma double cab limited 4x4

Fabtech 6inch lift

I have a 2013 limited with the k
jbl system, it has the back up camera in the rear view, I want it on the alpine double din. I've read about the 6 to 12 volt harness (mixed reviews) what is the best way to get the backup camera on the aftermarket screen?
