Hood support strut / upgrade from support rod

    That's a good point, although the effect works in the opposite way - the higher the lift, the more opening force there will be, and vice versa. But as you said, we design our struts to have enough margin to provide a good lift force in the full range of lift height positions.

    The hood attachments were hard for my 73 year old brain to comprehend .
    The operation is smooth as silk.
