I've seen it done all sorts of ways

Tape over the nipples and more tape on top
Sealant over the nipples tape on top
    Sealant over everything
    Only tape

I don't know the last time I needed to adjust or move a nipple, and if the repair after is just re-upping some sealant, that's not that bad.

I think it's on that slow boat. It's been a week since they shipped it. I can't wait to try it out. Hope it fit good.

Right. I’m not even sure what I was looking for that even lead me to the site in the first place. Totally agree on membership thingy too.
Supposedly it was donated and all proceeds go a charity, doesn’t say which though. I also believe the seller has a right to not sell if he/she (can we still say that anymore) does not get the coin, they/them are looking for. How true…. That’s unknown.

Still, I thought it was a neat and unusual find.

Was scrolling cl and came across a nice Honda gold wing. Anyway he posted a repair slip showing work that had just need done.
$167 in parts and almost $945 in labor??!!!
Holy crap this is why I do my own maintenance. That’s ridiculous IMO. And NO I am not buying another bike right now. Lol

Don't know where the air cleaner is, but that's highway robbery. I bet it took no more than 2hrs(and that's with a break)

My buddy just paid a shop to do his air filter, 3 hours labor on a goldwing, its nuts.

But honestly any trade is crazy expensive. My shop charges 1.7 hours for oil change/inspection for cars, its brutal.

Buddy tigged my razor frame then let me try tigging some aluminum. I have never welded aluminum and he gave me a couple pointers but damn i felt pretty good about the first tig & aluminum bead i ever welded. Im gonna buy a new welder soon now.

New to Tacomas (scored a Trailhunter for a decent discount), not a stranger to bikes. I typically haul my ass around on an adv bike or a HD tourer. Good to meet you all!

We're gonna need more info than that man

    :worthless:

Welcome though! I love when people's first or second post on a Tacoma forum is in the motorcycle area. Shit, I think half of us in this thread don't even own a Tacoma anymore. I don't even own a Toyota anymore :anonymous:

Been too busy moving to get out riding, unfortunately, but finally got the bike up on the new trailer to haul it across town.

Deck build worked out great, besides being a little heavy. Just gotta add some grip tape to the ramp sides for when it rains

Also been looking at Bering Siberia suit. The reviews seem like great bang for the buck.

FCMoto has it for $496.75 shipped and Motocard has them for $450.53 shipped. I need to search these companies and see if they're the real deal.
