I have never been harassed for the urd fuel pump kit in the last 8 years of CA smog checks. It has never been brought up unlike headers, CAI, the blower, etc.

Good to hear and thanks for the feedback! Thankfully, they didn't give me any trouble and I passed without any issues.

I’m wrapping up my install and here are a few improvements that I did while piecing
    my kit together.

    1. I used the accordion style hardline and secured the hose with pex clamps that crimp on. They should NEVER come off, cut into the line or leak. upload_2025-6-21_17-51-42.pngupload_2025-6-21_17-52-9.jpg
    2. I didn’t use butt connectors because they’re janky and you’re introducing another potential area of failure which would require dropping the tank. The supplied wiring harness was more than long enough to reach the bulkhead, so I crimped on the factory style female pin connectors for an OEM fit and finish. You can also see that the original wiring was thinner, obviously cooked, and a place for potential failure leaving you stranded. upload_2025-6-21_17-58-3.jpgupload_2025-6-21_17-58-18.jpgupload_2025-6-21_17-58-30.jpgupload_2025-6-21_17-59-39.jpg
Here’s the completed assembly with a new OEM fuel level sender. upload_2025-6-21_18-1-49.jpg

    Hopefully this helps someone!
