Water enters the door at the base of the glass and drains out of holes at the bottom of the door. This is how it works in 99% of vehicles out there. Make sure the drain holes at the bottom are not clogged, so you don't get water buildup inside the door. There's nothing more to do.

Sounds like the drains are clogged at the bottom of the door. Clean them out and be ready for water to flow out.

Open the small plug on the bottom and let the water out.

I never thought about this before, but I guess the water flowing down the door glass has to go somewhere. Ten years of pushing nuke subs around the globe did a number on my hearing, so there is no way I would hear something like that!

I would imagine hearing water dripping inside a submarine would be pretty unnerving. How did nuke subs ruin your hearing, they're pretty quiet aren't they?

Yeah, I mean the outer window seals aren't and can't be water tight, because your windows have to be able to roll up and down. There are holes at the bottom of the door for this reason. Some people say there are plugs, but I'm pretty sure they're just slits on the bottom, so they could be clogged. I would check that. I would also check those outer door seals to make sure they're not excessive torn or deformed, as they could be letting more water through than they should be.

Subs are relatively quiet on the outside as we took great pains to keep all that noise on the inside. And I was in the engine room where most of the noise was. Get it!

    ok..
We've established that you hear it when it rains. Did you have a question about it or just posting observations?

Interesting! Loud guns, loud whistles being blown in my ears for years by referees on the wrestling mat, loud music, loud racecars, genetics, chainsaws, etc. have combined to make me partially deaf at a, relatively, young age! I’ve never noticed the sound of water running down my doors. If I could go back and kick my own ass for not protecting my hearing more, I would do so gladly.

I responded with a question that you couldn't answer apparently. Next time i'll try and dumb it down for you so you're not so easily offended & triggered.
