Hey everyone, new to Tacomas and I scoured the forum but I can’t find exact info on this. I’m running 265/65R17 Falken Wildpeak A/T3Ws (about 31") on my 2017 Tacoma TRD Sport 4x4 and looking to buy RRW RS4 Monoblock wheels (17x8.5, -25 offset, 6x139.7). Curious if these would work on my truck or if I would have rubbing. I’m on stock suspension (planning to upgrade later but wanted to do wheels first). Thanks!

I give it a 50/50. Most don't go to that much offset on a stock sized tire. Not sure if it would look goofy or not. I would plan for a high caster alignment to aid in some extra clearance and basically treat it like your installing a 285/70. Just be prepared for the increased bump steer feedback with that much offset. I went for a +1 to -25 and now -38 and it's definitely a factor to consider ontop of clearance

Buy some used 1.5 or 2" wheel spacers to test on current wheels. If current wheels are say +15 offset and looking at -25 offset wheels, the spacer will approximate the change.
Resell the spacers after you're done.

It would be close. I run LT285/75/16 tires with almost no rubbing, but my wheels are only -10.

If they do rub, I think it would be very very minimal. I had a ton of extra room when I ran 265/75/16’s.
