Damn, you sold that for 500? That's crazy

 

It’s got 330 hours on it and I’ve seen a few listed for $600 that seem to have been out there forever… Guess I misjudged it

New ones are on sale at HF for like $700 right now too.

 

If they're on sale for $700ish, then selling it between $475-525 seems reasonable

 

Lol I offered him $425, but trying to sound like a legit buyer

Although I do have the Kwikfab prescribed number of angle grinders now, I decided to bring in some backup to grind that huge acme nut down to fit in to the stool leg tube.

Been wanting one for a while, this was just a great excuse. Too bad I couldn’t quite talk myself in to a belt grinder

 

Could get it done faster on a lathe (your next purchase)

I feel like you're easily gonna have a bunch more badass tools in your arsenal; that tube bender can make you some easy money even if you just charge something like $20 per bend

Bench grinders and bench-vises is something my family has no shortage of for some reason. Theres like 3 bench grinders out in my dads basement and a whole mile crate full of bench vises not even counting the ones that are mounted.

i remember as a kid just grinding anything and everything when i got board

 

HF does have a mini-lathe Although I’m gonna need a bigger garage before I get much more crap…

I keep on seeing stuff like this on eBay and thinking a couple hours in the garage and I could have a pretty good chunk of inventory built up. These are even some of the cheaper ones.
