    Changed yer oil, 75k service.

Replaced plastic with metal, fits real nicely.

Get a 5% "visor" strip across the top of the windshield. Blocks the sun from high in the sky most of the day ... early day and later daylight being the exceptions when the sun hits your eyes.

I've seen a few 24s left that I like mostly regular cabs, but that's where the discounts are on the 24s and what would motivate me. Seemed like there was a late run in 24s, or maybe a hold at some point as there was still a number of 24s last time I searched. The availability of Avalanche gray was about the only thing 25 had that 24 didn't still don't think I've seen a AG regular cab.

Went to the beach yesterday, did 30k maintenance today. Front + rear diff fluid & oil change, then gave it a wash.

If you’re talking about doing 50% tint on the windshield, your visibility will be pretty bad. It will make it really hard to see at night and pretty dangerous. If you only drive during the day it might be okay though.

Just noticed some more trail damage.
Looks like an axle dump exhaust chop is in my future.

Maybe one day I will get a high clearance bumper with a swing out but at $3000 that is just a pipe dream for now.

Ceramic tint will block most of the heat and UV rays; you don't need dark tint to achieve that. How much do you drive at night? I would do clear or 70% ceramic at the darkest. Tint the entire piece of glass.

Reporting this to DiscountTire or Toyota uses the "one allowed" repair and may require paying for a new "tire replacement" certificate.

I had a hole once from a small rock or nail, that seemed to be gone when Discount Tire looked at it for repair/replace. Turns out it had *torn* the tire at the base of one of the lugs and was damned-near undetectable, except by dunking it in water tub. You can see the hole and it is not near the sidewall so get in some practice for when you have no options.

Never ever go to Discount Tire for a tire repair. You simply won't get one unless you have a certificate with them. They will give you any excuse they can to not repair the tire. They are strictly sales, no service.

I got a replacement tire for that, just $40 for the new certificate. Given my intended offroad usage I was OK with that $40 charge ... not fully happy but better than guessing if that "tear" in the tire would open again off-road ... the tire deflated on its own inside of 20 minutes.

Life costs money and next time I may approach differently.
