I'm a little confused as to exactly how the DRCC works when stopped. Does the truck take off by itself when the car in front of me moves? From what I've seen, when I press the gas, it takes off but not automatically. Is this the way it's supposed to work? Any insight is appreciated.

    I've been testing this.
It'll slow the truck all the way to zero. If traffic resumes within about 10-15 seconds it'll automatically start accelerating back up. If it's been more than that, you'll see the distance display go gray and say "waiting..." Once this happens you have to tell it to go. You can either tap the accelerator, or flick the ok/resume toggle up once and it'll take back over. You'll know it's in control if your distance lines stay blue. If they go gray, then it's on you. I've also noticed you can interrupt it with breaking or accelerating and once you let off the pedal, it'll take back over (you'll see it light up blue again). You can control the speed at which it brakes or accelerates within the DRCC settings in the MID settings menu.

In rush hour like traffic, once I set it, I just monitor for it saying "waiting...", and tap the accelerator I've it does as traffic creeps forward.

Massive benefit in the Baltimore/DC metro!

Thank you for that information. That's a lot to take in but I will be on the lookout for those things now that I know that they exist.
