I have the Ego snow thrower (and all yard equipment) and its great. I've never needed to recharge it while in use but I have smaller driveway and area to clean. I also have 6 batteries and could run continuously if needed. Had to clean 11+ inches of wet snow a few years ago and it did it better than any other single stage blower I've used.

I used my Harbor Freight Bauer 40v electric saw to cut branches to make these poles from dead locust trees to build this replica of the historic fence the internees built around their water garden at Manzanar WWII internment camp. We built it during a volunteer project for the NPS. The saw stayed sharp and ran very well on just one 5amp battery each day. I even charged them using the solar panels on my trailer. My Stihl 036 stayed home that weekend and I am very glad it did.

Need an inexpensive truck chainsaw.. go with the Hobo Freight Atlas. I have the 80v and a family member has the 40v.. both work.

if space and shaving every dollar is an issue.. I know an 80 yr old neighbor that sawed up a BUNCH of ~4" diameter tree branches with the 20v Bauer pruning saw. Don't know what size battery he was using or how many times he recharged it.
