Morning motorcycle community. I start a new job on the 1st of July. Finally get to start riding the bike to work. The past 2 years have prevented that since I've had to pick my nephew up for work every morning. The ktm is now 3yrs old with a whole 893mi on it. Time to start racking those miles up.

Back from a nice 4 day weekend trip to the Catskills and Adirondacks with a small group of FJR friends. Covered a little over 1100 miles from start to finish. Hit 25 locations for the GLMC grand Tour and 10 locations for Team Strange event. Nice weather Thursday thru Saturday. Sunday we left for home in a light rain through NY and into NJ. Rain tapered off then started back up when we hit PA on I-78. Heavy at times from the state line until around Hamburg, PA when it cleared up and we stopped for a bio break. left Hamburg it was 82 degrees and nice and by the time we hit Hershey, PA roughly 30 miles later it was up to 97 and like riding into a blast furnace. Didn't really take many pics other than the bonus locations.

So very happy the rain has ended (16+" in the last 6 weeks!) but we jumped straight into the frying pan! 95 yesterday, 95+ today and the next 3 days, and then... more t'storms. Not a good summer for riding so far...

Allergies have been kicking the last couple of days. I have some prescription eyedrops on their way too. That should help

Doc said I can use Zyrtec up to 4x a day, with my Montekaulast, nose spray and now these allergy eye drops.
Other option is to go there 2x a week for an allergy shot, wait 45 mins as they have to monitor me for reactions, and eventually 1x a week, then 1-2x a month. Trying not to go that route

We have my 8 year old daughter on drops everyday. She is allergic to nature and we live in the middle of the woods. The drops seem to be working pretty good, not sure if they work on adults though.

My friend is doing that, she's pretty far into it and the clinics refrigerator failed and they lost the medication and couldn't get replacement in time, now she has to start the whole process over. Not recommended, but when you're done it's way better

I think my stepdad did it too. Not 100% on what process or medication

Ya no thanks. I don’t want to drive there multiple times, park, check in, wait to be called, wait again for the allergist, wait for 45 mins as they watch over me, then get back out.
This would be a 2-3 hour ordeal. If these eye drops help, that’ll work for me

That's exactly why she said she was so pissed. It's not the shot or cost, but the absolute time waste

No longer the Amazon package delivery bike. After 2.5 years I finally got around to removing the sticker.

The Tuareg 660 was my 2024 almost purchase. They really do hold up well, and way more cool factor than the T7. How is yours holding up?

Would you ever do a high fender mod?

No issues so far but my mileage has been pretty poor with time out of the country and long winters, just over 5100 miles now. Still a great bike to ride on and off road. I’ve been in some pretty thick, sticky mud and the low fender hasn’t been an issue yet. Figure if I break it off I’ll do a high fender afterwards.
