Anyone on the west coast looking at getting a HF trencher? Gave it to my dad when I got my Kubota. But, after using my Kubota, he decided he wants to get one.

Haha told my wife I need a backhoe. She said why? I said I'll do a lot with it, like fix this and that and this and that.
In the meantime my neighbor is going to come by with his trackhoe for the 1st this.

Went to an estate sale today and this Troy-Bilt Horse was there. Looked brand new with electric start. Not sure what it brought, we left at 1:00

Saturday was a long day. Mowed then wacked some weeds, sprayed some weeds, mowed some more, then cleaned up mower and sharpened blades. Noticed deck belt was worn again it already has something like 30 hrs. on already. The neighbor who usually mows the 2 miles up and down the road is still waiting on his mower to get out of the shop. Wife and I run that little thing about 3.5 hrs a week average but with his mower down it adds 2 more hrs to it.Gotta check the oil again today to see if it needs changed. Up this morning waiting on the sun rise so I can walk the dog before it gets too hot for her. Then after breakfast weeding the garden with the tiller.
Oh yeah I ordered some gator G5 blades for the little JD. And maybe if I feel like it I just might ride the motorcycle a little bit.
Hope everyone has a good day and be careful today.

Put many hours in on a Troy built like that... Great machines.

Man my blades that I bought this year haven't held up for crap. They need sharpened after just 8 mows. (20hrs)

Think I might try a set of those Ballards next time.

Did some land clearing for a friend on Saturday. He plans to put up a batting cage

    IMG_5305.jpg

Lots of small rock which made digging some stumps a challenge. Only 1 got me so I had to cut it below grade. Deep taproot in a rock.
    IMG_5322.jpg

Blocked off the end with some logs he had elsewhere.

That's a very poor choice for a batting cage. As the kid gets older and the pitches become faster tracking the ball through the intermittent shade and light will be almost impossible.

And just so you know I have a little experience on the subject.

Friend of mine is a fireman and mows yards on his days off. He was leaving a property and this happened

Glad he wasn’t going down the road.

We were suppose to host that Super Regional, but the Chancellor declined it because Terra Haute was hosting the special olympics that weekend and she took it upon herself to assume we couldn't pull both off. Her and the Athletic Director lost their jobs over it. Anyone who knows anything about baseball knows 4-1 and 6-4 home field advantage could have made all the difference. That team got screwed by their own people.

If I hadn't been online as long as I have, and on TW as long as I have, I'd wonder why offering a little friendly advice would prompt a reply like that. Maybe you need to step away from the computer and interact with people in real life a little bit.

My reply was due to the fact that the video you posted was when playing against TCU. So I looked the game up to see the outcome, even though I'm sure we watched it live at the time. It was a nice hit... don't get me wrong. I've owned computers, been on dialup BBS's, CompuServe, and had CIS email since long before you were born, and before the internet existed. Settle down. Don't take out your frustration with your Administration on me.

I guess I'm not sure what you mean. I took the time to point out that that was not an appropriate place for a batting cage. It would seem someone would want to know that. He pointed out that you guys lost. I kind of took that as a big F you, wish that's okay if that's the way you want to be. I just didn't see the need for it and pointed it out. Simple thanks I'll point that out seems like it would have been a more appropriate reply. But that's just me.

That could have been much worse.

I can't make out the weight rating on the drawbar but judging from the size of the trailer he needs a higher rated one next time.

    ...and...

He obviously hasn't lubricated his ball in a long time.
