Not sure if this should be in the 3rd Gen forum or Performance Tuning forum, but I sprung for a Banks Pedal Monster to see what I thought of it on my '22 SR5 DCLB 4x4. I wanted something to make the truck feel snappier to drive, but with my CPO warranty, I talked myself out of a tune, as I can remove the Pedal Monster from the truck in just a few minutes when/if I need to take it in for service.
I went with the Banks product because of a lot of negative feedback on the Pedal Commander primarily, but I also know from my diesel drag racing days that Banks makes quality products - they just typically cost a lot more than their competitors. We'd argue over "value" vs "cheap" back in those days, and with certain products, I think Banks was a good "value" but certainly not the cheapest. But in this case, any extra cost was worth it - didn't want to end up with some of the issues I saw reported on the Pedal Commanders.
Final cost was $290 shipped after applying some discounts from setting up an account with Banks (which you end up having to do anyway for registration purposes). Again, not cheap, but I'm hoping for a quality product that is reliable from Banks.
Shipping was fast. Got it within 3 days of my online order via FedEx.
Product was boxed nicely and the instruction video was clear and easy to follow. I use the app on my phone to control it, and it works well and is simple too. My one complaint is pretty minor, but Banks give you plenty of cable. Too much for the Tacoma, as it took some creative zip tie effort to get everything up out of the way and secured, but not so secured that I can't just nip the zip ties when I want to remove it for service appointments.
As for results, it has four settings (stock, city, sport and track), plus you have 10 adjustments within each setting. Even in "City" mode, the changes to the throttle are noticeable. I've been driving with the ECT button on lately before I pulled the trigger on the Pedal Monster, and ECT holds gears longer before upshifting, but still requires a heavy foot to get it up to speed, whereas the Pedal Monster uses less pressure on the accelerator pedal to bring the truck up to speed faster.
Was it worth it? Not sure yet. Still driving and playing with the settings, but I've been using it for two days on City mode, with 6 clicks of adjustment on that setting and I like the throttle response there for now. That makes my Taco feel more like the throttle response in our family's new '26 Honda Passport, which has a similar sized V6 engine but seems much quicker the stock Tacoma. With the Pedal Monster installed, my truck moves faster without having to give it a lot of push on the accelerator pedal, and feels more similar to the Honda now.
To all the naysayers, yes, a person can just push the pedal harder to make it go all the same, but the "feel" from the Pedal Monster makes the Taco a bit more like other modern cars and I feel is more fun to drive. Its likely just a mental thing about smashing the accelerator pedal to the floorboard - makes me think the truck is underpowered, so the Pedal Monster seems like a nice compromise that didn't break the budget too badly.
I'll status this in a month or so after using it some more, likely cleaning up the routing of the cables a bit more under the dash, and messing with the other settings, but for now, I'm pleased with it.

I’ve had mine for a year or so and love it. I run Sport at 6 to 7 and it feels good. I have to dial it back when the wife drives because she gives me whiplash. I hear a tune is better but the Pedal Monster is fine with me.

Thank you for the inputs. I've been on the fence about this product myself, but I'll wait for your updates before my final decision.
