Driver door locked almost every norning, key in truck

I have the wallet key for my truck. I park in the garage and leave it in the truck, with my wallet. Don't care what anyone thinks about doing that. Almost every morning the drivers door is locked, but not any other door on the truck. Seems strange, doors shouldn't lock with key in car. Any thoughts other than quit leaving key in truck?

 

Make sure you aren't inadvertently hitting the lock button with a finger/part of hand when opening your driver's door on the way out. The one next to the opening lever.

 

I do that all the time with my wifes Corolla Cross.

 

The doors will absolutely lock with a key inside. It will beep at you if you try to lock it via the door handle touch method, but if you hit the button on the fob it will definitely lock. That doesn't explain why your driver side door is locking on its own without the other doors, but it is definitely possible to lock the door with a key inside. I do it all the time.
