First Real Post, Tires too Small for the lift.

My lean wasn't bad but it of no issue now. I don't know what you mean by damage on the diff drops, but they are spacers to get the driveline angles back in spec. I had the needle bearing done when lifted back when I bought it. If you do 5100s the top setting is perfect with an inch block with 265s as that is how we did my son's truck.

 

I'm sorry I meant how much did it cost to have your Diffs dropped. For the 5100s I was thinking 1.1" in the front and removing the rear blocks to level it completely. Do you have a photo of your sons truck on the 265s?

 

Diff drops are cheap maybe $40 and only a few minutes to install. The settings you’re talking about aren’t much and a block keeps the factory ride. I would do a 2/1 with 285s but 265s look good too! That is what I did initially then went up to 285s. Wish I did 285s from the start!
