I guess you don't understand how true that is given the bag over your face icon?. I was out today cleaning the rig. 6:00 am no sun wiping down and vacing the interior. The temp had to be 60's. Given I had somewhere to be had to shower. The shirt wasn't "soaked" but was well on it's way to it. Indiana had to be settled in the winter time or by people who arrived in the summer who could not afford to go any further.

I grew tired of cold killing half the year and humidity killing the other half in IN and OH. I know how summer humidity is a killer and winter cold is often fatal in the Midwest. This requires a good AC in summer and winter cold requires a good furnace. A basement helps to hide from humidity and a little from the cold, but that is only a partial relief.

That reply reeks of AI. "Winter cold is often fatal"? It can be, but often...

Not AI by any stretch. A few years back between late December and January 20 or so it was between 0 and 5 degrees at night, 20 MPH+ winds. TV forecasters were BEGGING viewers to NOT go outside ... "THIS IS NOT A TYPICAL MIDWEST COLD ... IT IS A KILLER!". I worked from home so did not experience it much but went out 5 times or so for food supplies just to see if it was still Alaskan-brutal.

Semi mounted a fridge out of a tractor-trailer for camping this weekend. It's powered off an 18AH lawnmower battery which "should" keep it running 6-8h.
Battery is kept topped up by a charger.
Charger is plugged into the bed inverter while driving.
I've tested it maxes out at 75w so should be ok without the 400w anytime mod as I haven't got to that yet.Plug the charger into the campsite when we get there and all should be good. In the future I'm hoping for a better, longer lasting, easier setup.

Also installed a 3$ princess auto light, might grab a few more for the price they seem decent.

I removed my front valance on my 2023 SR5 3.5 4x4. I learned that here on TW! I finally realized that it is going to come off when I put my OEM TRD skid plate on. I like the look better! I would have knocked it off eventually anyhow.

A basement is the worst place in the cold. It's colder in the basement usually rather than the toasty upper levels where the warm rises to.[/QUOTE]

I built a 15 ft desk with nice tiered shelf to work from the basement. My eyes do not like constant bright light in my office, so the basement was a better choice for the permanent place for the desk. Sadly I built the desk in the basement without measuring if the desk (even the 3 piece design) and the shelf could be moved out. I had to decapitate the top 2 shelf layers off the shelf to get it out and it somewhat spoiled the nice pyramid shape.

For some reason that skirt helped a lot with fuel economy. I love the look. I too swear by “ the look” But you’re gonna pay for it.
