    Me again for basic upgrades.
7000 miles and looking for seat upgrade. Prior to buying I test drove a Chevy truck.
The salesman said the Takoma front seats were "low" in the front - I think he was right.
    I am long legged 6'.
Heard some rumor about "risers" for the front of the seat.
How about some ideas to make the front seats more livable.
We, the wife and i, plan some long road trips with our "new" Takoma "touring sedan".
Got the V6 - why the 2021. The new only have a 4 with turbo. Saw a nice 2021 lease trade in on the lot and bought it because of that motor, and beat the $5000 drive out loss.

    Welcome to the forum :hattip:

    Congratulations on the new truck!

The Desert Does It seat jackers above made a huge improvement for me.

I'm 6'4", and the Desert Does It Seat Jackers made my Taco far more comfortable for long trips. Raising the front of the seat gives my thighs better support, and doesn't affect the headroom in any significant amount. Highly recommended.

They also have a slick little Molle cross piece that I use for my old school Maglite, as well as a few other things.

    2021, 2022, 2023 are good trucks.
    Perfect, no.
    Good, yes.

The jury is still out on the 4-cyl turbo.
Might be tempted in another 5 years, if I'm able to fog a mirror... but most likely my son, hoping for an early demise, will be seen in my 2021 AC

I’m tall too and purchased the rear risers first but then found the front risers. I now have just the front risers installed

I've looked into these as well, since I'm 6' 2" with a 34" inseam. I have a '22 with the power seat, and have mine set up maybe similarly to adding the front risers. But since the steering wheel doesn't telescope out very much, I already find myself reaching straight out for the steering wheel. Seems like adding these risers and tilting the seat back more would only make that issue more pronounced. I have a bad lumbar spine with tumors on a couple of vertebrae, so I'm always looking for things to make life more comfortable, but having to slightly lean forward to reach the wheel seems like that might offset the benefit from having the riser installed(?). Do the risers cause the reach to the steering wheel to increase? Or is it worth it for added comfort?

The jackers are a personal thing, it depends on your build and preferred driving position.

I'm 5'11" with a 30" inseam. I could drive about an hour and would find myself constantly shifting around to relieve pain.

It felt like my entire weight was supported by my heels & butt bones, there was no thigh support at all and my leg muscles were constantly engaged to hold me in place.

With the jackers I have driven 2500 miles in 4 days with no issues, if I didn’t have them I would have had to sell the truck.

I'm definitely in the minority here or not a paid spokesman or something but the jackers made my seating position significantly worse, sure the angle of the seat was a little better if you didn't mind having to move the steering wheel to get in and out and like having the wheel between your knees while driving. no amount of adjustment of the tilt or telescoping or seat slider made it as "comfortable", we will use that term loosely, as the factory position.
There was one guy on here I ended up muting because he was basically attacking me here and on facebook for not liking the jackers.
