1 hour later. Beef ribs looking amazing already. Smoker at 270. IT 130 for the big one, 150 for the smaller ones.

    Last post, pinky swear.

I seasoned, smoked and glazed the Chuck roast the same way as the beef ribs. Same ingredients, same bbq sauce. Both very tasty.

Beef ribs had a notably better taste! The meat just tastes better.

I love me some poor man burnt ends. Easier to make on a smaller scale too, since they usually come in a smaller cut. :)

I do the same! If the smokers on, there's no empty space. Why waste it?

Chew was perfect. Then again I was a little buzzed, so it all tastes amazing at that point, lol.

Whats the gimmick with WiFi? I use it to make sure mine is staying at temp, if I need to I can raise/lower the temp without having to go out to it also. Would it be a show stopper if I didn't have it? Nope (last two didn't) but it sure makes my life a little easier. Thing I've like about having it the most is it let me know when pellets got low.

Interesting. Can't say I've had any issues, but honestly I'm usually going out to check on things also. Now I don't use the built in probes over WiFi I have another set for that. It's not the WiFi on them I don't trust it's the cheap probes that I don't trust. THOUGH I can say I used them while my other set was recharging once and somehow while cleaning the probe wire came out of the probe. I jumped on chat with Recteq to try and buy a replacement, they would have none of that. Got my address and a complete brand new set of them showed up in like 2 days. Top notch customer service by them. I had heard a lot of great things about them as a company and how they support their customers so I went with them this time.
