Remove Carpet and Apply a bed liner material

    Currently Stock with the exception of BFG KO2’s. 265/75R16
    Has anyone removed the carpet and applied a bed liner material.

    Likes / Dislikes?

    I did it to my Jeep and loved it.. debating on the Taco…

    Did you have any regrets with doing this on your Jeep? Is there any reason you might not like it if you do the same to your Tacoma? That's a rather permanent change to make but if you liked the way it went in your Jeep, go for it.

    You say to remove the carpet and apply the bedliner; are you putting the carpet back or leaving it out?

    There may be some very sticky attachments on the floor to remove before spraying the bedliner stuff on.

    On another 4-wheeling vehicle I have neither carpet nor bedliner, just bare metal. The metal does get hot to the bare or sandaled feet during the summer. I really like just taking the hose and washing the vehicle out when done with a trail. With the Tacoma I don't know if there are removable plugs for the water to drain and on the Tacoma, there are a lot of electrical connectors at the kick panels, I would not wish to get wet. Well, I just talked myself out of doing this.
