    Hi All,

I've read through a lot of these type posts on this forum and followed the advice given in them but I am still having intermittent starting issues. The truck is a 2006 base model 2wd with a standard transmission. A couple weeks ago it began needing a couple key turns to start the vehicle and then quickly progressed to not starting at all. All the dash lights would come on but no noise from the starter. I have replaced the starter, battery, ignition switch, and the switch behind the clutch pedal. Even with all this changed it will only start intermittently. I am at a loss for what to do next. Any advice for how to move forward would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for this DM93! I did replace the switch on the floor that gets pushed in when the pedal is depressed. I had the idea to push the plunger down with my finger and the truck starts every single time. It seems like the pedal arm wasn't pushing the plunger of the switch down enough. I put a rubber bumper on the flange that pushes the plunger and it starts up every time.
