I'm looking for a recommendation for someone to install carpet in my 2014 double cab. I'm getting quoted over $4000 (and that isnt even the service center), obviously "go away" quotes.

I'm in Chatham County, but willing to travel.

Three years ago I would have done it myself, but my back isn't going to allow that anymore.

If I charged you $500 for replacing the carpet, I’d feel guilty for ripping you off.

You can have the interior removed in 30-45 minutes at most.

I have installed the optional vinyl flooring in 2 Tacomas and don’t miss having carpet.

You’d be surprised how clean you can get old carpet by removing it and power washing it.

My thoughts are that I am paying to save my back, I'm pretty sure removing the seats alone would end up with me getting another epidural and taking time off work. I'd gladly cough up $500 to install carpet, hell I'll bring some few pounds of bbq, and hand over cold beers as needed. Cheaper than taking a week off work to recover.

I wish i could see the vinyl in person. That sounds tempting, but I wonder how hot does it get?

If you drive to Austin, and provide the BBQ (from Franklin’s) and beverages, I’d install it for you.

I'm a purist, BBQ was oinking the week before. I have dabbled in the smoked beef arena. This one a beer steamed smoked brisket I did when my Texan boss came, just to show him not only can I out do Texas on BBQ, I can out do them on smoked beef as well. ;p

I can't drive that far these days, not until I find seats with a heated lumbar massager in them lol.
