I bought the Rough Country seat covers because the YouTube videos show handsome tough guys easily installing them to the tune of badass music. Now that I have them I'm finding they fit worse than princess Leia's and Jabba switching wardrobes. Take a look these pictures of the driver side seat. Why is there a cut away for one seat adjustment control but not the other two? Also there is no way in hell that the plastic hooks can fit down behind the plastic panel on the seat. There are to many controls in the way. Are these the correct seat covers? I have a 2023 crew cap sr5. Thanks for the help.

Those covers are for the manual seat. You have a power seat.

I bought the ones for my 2022 power-seat and they did not fit directly over the controls because of the "for manual" design. Still did not stop me and I can use the "power seat" controls. But I did remove the mounting screws to get under the seats to find a frame-member to hook into visually instead of blindly.

Ok thanks, so I can take the seats out and hook the clips under? I was scared that that would set the air bag off. It looks like the rough country does not sell seats that accommodate electric controls.

Yeah, RC doesn't make a version for electric seats, only manual. Those plastic clips need to be stuffed down in-between the seat foam and that plastic side panel, then you clip them together. It's a lot easier if you unbolt the seat and remove it. The airbag sensors can easily be unclipped underneath. Take your time on the install.

The popularity with these covers is the price point. They're cheap enough you can throw them away and buy new rather than wash them.

I got the same one. Based on how I got them on they could fully fit if I took the seats out but would cover the buttons. I ain't doing all that so I got it clipped down enough to be functional and look decent. No ones gonna be able to tell with my ass in the seat anyway.

The material makes it easier to slip in and out and I love the fact the neoprene keeps my AZ-induced sweat fro wreaking the cloth. Well worth $200.

I scoured the internet looking for comparable priced seat covers that fit power seats and found none. The next step up is too much money for a guy with kids. This is the best I can do. It's good enough but not really. The seats are a real tight fit kind of like trying to put a sports bra on a daily cow. I can tell you though that getting the straps to hook together under the seats is almost impossible without unbolting the seats and tipping them up.
